Amavi Atelier was created from the love and passion I have for interior design, influenced by a diverse cultural background, reflecting my rich Mediterranean heritage. I have an obsession with the arts and aesthetics, having a strong background in fine art, fashion and Jewellery design. While visiting family and travelling through Turkiye’s gorgeous countryside, I instantly fell in love with the rustic, yet elegant feel of my surroundings. Recognizing this passion in me, my cousin took me to an antique market, where I discovered some of the most beautiful one-of-a-kind vessels originating from all over Turkiye. Each piece tells the unique story of a life once lived, from the artisans who passed their trade on from generation to generation, to the people who used these vessels in their everyday lives.  My Turkish grandfather left me a small inheritance with the condition that I would use this money to start my own business one day because of my entrepreneurial spirit, much like his. A ‘lightbulb’ went off and I thought this would we a wonderful way to honour him, while at the same time fulfilling my own dream of owning my own business!
