Turkiye Collection

The art of Turkish ceramics originated in Anatolia in the region’s earliest eras, significantly influencing Turkiye’s history and culture. Ceramic production in Turkiye dates back approximately 10,000 years, with various styles emerging in different regions. Virtually every village in Anatolia (modern day Turkiye) had a workshop with a master potter, producing beautiful pots and vessels. Much like Turkish carpets, each pot contains a story with unique skills and individual touches added to every vessel. They are literally part of the landscape because local soil and materials were used to make them.

Their timeless beauty and intricate design have captivated people for centuries, making these vessels a popular choice for interior design enthusiasts and collectors alike. Their terracotta material gives them a rustic, earthy charm, often displaying signs of aged patina or weathering, which adds character to the piece. These hand made vessels are in their original condition, each with its own perfect imperfections. Each one-of-a-kind and antique Turkish vessel is approximately 100 – 300 years old. Each treasure has been inspected by a Turkish Cultural Officer to ensure it is not a culturally significant antiquity. The pot is then marked with a small stamped metal tag to enable it to leave the country.

Each one of our items makes a stunning statement piece for any room in the home, garden or commercial space. These vessels are not only beautiful pieces of art in their own right, but functional receptacles for flowers, tree branches and plant displays. You can also create an ensemble of smaller vintage pots and urns of varying sizes and designs. These vintage pieces can be combined with modern sleek and minimalist decor to create a striking contrast that highlights their uniqueness.
