AMS07 – AMPHORA 2 HANDLED WATER JUG

This beautiful 2 handled Amphora water jug comes from the mountains of the ancient city of konya in south-central Turkiye. It was traditionally  used for generations to serve water and wine. This work of art reflects ancient influences by the multiple populations that inhabited the region over the years. Every curve and mark tells the story of centuries of tradition.
