AMS31 – AMPHORA SINGLE HANDLE WATER JUG W/ CORK TOP

During my recent visit to Turkiye, I came across the exquisite Turkish Amphora urns. Historically, these thoughtfully designed jugs were once used to carry water, olive oil and wine. Hailing from the Konya region, this stunning terracotta vessel highlights the rich history and skilled craftsmanship of the area. The Turkish Amphora urns stand as a testament to the enduring legacy of human creativity and ingenuity, inviting us to appreciate the artistry of the past, while creating our own stories for future generations to cherish.

Age: Approx. 100-150 years old

Physical Details: Single handle, red terracotta Amphora vessel, featuring rich brown and whitewash patina with attached lid.
