This gorgeous whitewashed grain vessel originates from the Hatay region of southern Turkiye. It was traditionally used to store dry goods such as grains and rice. The Hatay region is known as the melting pot of Turkiye and possesses a very ancient and diversified history since it only became a Turkish province in 1939. This work of art reflects early influences by the multiple populations that inhabited the region over the years and would make a stunning conversation piece!
