ODL19 – ODEMIS VESSEL
$2,000.00
During my recent exploration of the Turkish countryside in the Izmir province, their place of origin, I was fascinated by the rustic Odemis pots. Initially designed to transport honey, olives, and dry goods such as grains and rice, this gorgeous Kordonlu (belted) container has aged beautifully over time, carrying a rich history within. Each crack and imperfection in the aged clay displays unique and beautiful markings from years of use. These Odemis vessels are more than just containers, they are vessels of history, vessels of tradition and vessels of a bygone era waiting to be cherished once again. This vessel will add rich history and depth to your home.
