ODL23 – ODEMIS VESSEL
$1,750.00
During my recent exploration of the Turkish countryside in the Izmir province, where they originated, I was fascinated by the rustic Odemis pots. Initially designed to transport honey, olives, and dry goods such as grains and rice, this gorgeous container has aged beautifully over time, carrying a rich history within. Each crack and imperfection in the aged clay displays unique and beautiful markings from years of use. These Odemis pots are more than just containers; they are vessels of history, vessels of tradition and vessels of a bygone era waiting to be cherished once again.
